Doing Business in Florida
Florida is considered the "gateway" to the Americas and has long been in the forefront of globalizing its economy and Brazil is its number one trading partner. Tourism tends to be the first industry sector one thinks of as Florida's key industry, and it is a strong element in the economy. However, there are many other high-tech industries taking the lead in the growing Florida markets.
Among them are: aviation and aerospace, health and bio-medical, information technology and optoelectronics.

Some of the advantages of conducting international trade in Florida are the availability and accessibility of transportation through quality roads, ports and airports in addition to a solid infrastructure in the state. The state aims to bring in new clean industry that guarantees a consistent quality of life for its local communities.
